Beyoncé hace historia en los Grammys 2025 al ganar álbum del año

La 67ª edición de los Grammys, celebrada en el Crypto.com Arena de Los Ángeles, reconoció lo mejor de la música con una ceremonia cargada de mensajes políticos y actuaciones inolvidables. Beyoncé se llevó el premio a mejor álbum del año por Cowboy Carter, una producción que celebra la influencia afroamericana en el country. Con este galardón, la artista enmendó lo que muchos consideraban una deuda histórica, tras cuatro nominaciones fallidas en esta categoría.

La cantante también ganó el premio a mejor álbum country, consolidándose como la mujer con más Grammys en la historia (35 en total). La gala, que duró ocho horas y entregó 94 gramófonos, fue dedicada a las víctimas de los incendios en Los Ángeles, con una campaña de recaudación de fondos durante la transmisión en vivo.

Kendrick Lamar fue otro de los grandes ganadores de la noche, llevándose las estatuillas a canción del año y grabación del año por Not Like Us. En las categorías en español, Shakira destacó al obtener el premio a mejor álbum latino tropical por Las mujeres ya no lloran. La colombiana, quien regresó al escenario de los Grammys tras 18 años, aprovechó su discurso para enviar un mensaje a los migrantes en EE. UU.

"Quiero dedicar este premio a todos mis hermanos y hermanas migrantes en este país. Son amados, son valiosos y siempre voy a luchar por ustedes", declaró Shakira.

Alicia Keys y Lady Gaga también usaron la plataforma para abordar temas sociales. Keys, al recibir el Premio Dr. Dre por el Impacto Global, criticó la eliminación de programas de diversidad por parte del gobierno de Trump, mientras que Gaga expresó su apoyo a la comunidad trans y queer.

La noche estuvo marcada por actuaciones memorables de nuevas estrellas como Chappell Roan, ganadora a mejor artista revelación, Sabrina Carpenter y Charlie XCX. También destacaron presentaciones de Benson Boone, Stevie Wonder, Teddy Swims y Raye, y un emotivo homenaje al legendario productor Quincy Jones.
